“In words: Poems on Works of Art"

Autumn 2016 has been exceptionally gorgeous with fantastic colors. To visually demonstrate artists’ perceptions and reactions to the beauty of the Hudson Valley in the fall and also to depict harvest activities, an exhibit of 115 paintings, photographs, and sculptures are on display  October 25 - November 20, 2016. Come to Orange Hall Gallery on the Middletown campus of SUNY Orange to view Autumn in the Hudson Valley. Sixty artists are represented in the show. Works range in size from very small paintings to a towering sculpture installation.

Scheduled  from 1 to 4pm on Sunday, November 6, the reception for the exhibit will be a gathering of artists including poets who will read their new poems inspired by specific artworks and favorite works  about autumn, “In words: Poems on Works of Art.”

The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public. Regular gallery hours are Monday through Thursday 9am to 8pm and Friday 9am to 6pm and during performances in Orange Hall Theatre.
